SMASHED. started with two cousins and a shared obsession — burgers. Not just any burger, but the kind worth driving across a city for. After years of eating their way through burger bars from New York to Tokyo, they landed on something Amsterdam was missing: proper smashed beef, quality ingredients, cooked right in front of you.
Most places hand you a brioche bun and call it a day. We didn't. SMASHED. is built around variety — from our signature white bun to buttery paratha wraps, crispy lettuce rolls, and our show-stopper: The Flying SMASHED., where a roasted onion takes the place of bread entirely.
Every patty is pressed hard onto a screaming-hot flat iron, crisped at the edges, stacked with intention. Paired with a proper drink from our bar — beer on tap, cocktails, wine — and you've got a night worth making a mess for.
